School Counseling Program

Loch Lomond's School Counselors provide the following services for kindergarten through fifth-grade students:

  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling
  • Classroom lessons addressing academic, career, and social/emotional development
  • Consultation and collaboration with parents, teachers, administrators, and the overall community

The mission of Loch Lomond's Elementary School Counseling Program aligns with the school divisions commitment to promote world-class learners. The school counselor will provide a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate program that addresses the academic, career, and social-emotional needs of all students. Through the collaboration with school faculty, families, community members, business partners and other educators, the school counselor will deliver innovative and varied program services that foster the growth of all students by addressing their diverse needs, interests, and abilities. Loch Lomond's School Counseling Program is designed to advocate for equity, access, and success of every student. The program is committed to preparing students to become educated, productive and responsible citizens.

Loch Lomond Counseling department adheres to the American School Counselor Association National Model, which is a framework for a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program.
