woman and family

I’m excited to begin a wonderful school year with you all. This year marks my 12th year with Prince William County Schools, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Loch Lomond Elementary.

Before joining the Loch Lomond community, I spent eleven years as a special education teacher at PACE West. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Childhood and Special Education from Daemen College, a master’s degree in Adolescent Special Education from Buffalo State College, and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, our two energetic boys, Chase and Myles, and our sweet 8-year-old dog, Champ. As a family, we enjoy outdoor adventures like visiting local playgrounds. I also love reading, baking, and finding fun, creative ways to stay active together. These moments help me stay grounded and remind me of the joy and curiosity I strive to bring into my work with students and families every day.

I’m proud to be part of such a dedicated and caring team here at Loch Lomond. I look forward to working with you to support our students’ success and well-being.

Admin Intern

Ashley DeSesso

Hello! My name is Ashley DeSesso, and I am excited to be joining the Loch Lomond staff as the Administrative Intern for the upcoming 2026–27 school year!

During my 19 years in education, I have taught and coached in a variety of school settings. My journey includes time as an Elementary Spanish (FLES) teacher in Spotsylvania County and Falls Church City Public Schools, a private pre-kindergarten teacher, and a FLES/LTC Spanish teacher, ESOL teacher, and, most recently, a K-12 ESOL Resource Teacher in the Office of School Support in Fairfax County Public Schools. I have been fortunate to work with diverse learners and coach both ESOL and classroom teachers to support student success. I truly value collaboration and cannot wait to be a part of the Loch Lomond community!

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish) and a Master of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Washington. I also earned my K-12 administration and supervision endorsement through the FCPS Accelerated Certification Cohort in partnership with the University of Virginia.

I have been happily married to my husband, George, and we have two daughters: Natalie and Audrey. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, anything Disney, and spending time with my family.

I'm looking forward to a wonderful year ahead together!
